It is hard to believe that December arrives this week. We are in the final 4 weeks of school before we head into the winter break, but things are not slowing down in A3!
We will be working hard this week on finishing up our biodiversity projects. Everyone has been working very hard to produce informative and attractive displays. We are very eager to share our learning with everyone so I hope that you will be able to join us for our Fall Convention on Thursday Nov. 30th, from 11:30 - 1:00. We are finally ready to start presenting our rants. Presentations begin tomorrow! I encourage you to help your child practice. We have some very creative writers in A3! In Reading, we will be continuing to look at summarizing as a comprehension strategy. In Math, we will be looking at constructing a variety of polygons using specific criteria. Students will be engaging in a variety of hands on problems. At the end of the week we will be having a small quiz. Review sheets will go home on Wednesday. I am looking forward to another exciting week of learning in A3!
