And just like that we are at the end of October...
Just a reminder that on Tuesday we will be celebrating Halloween during the first block. Everyone who wants to, is asked to come to school dressed in their costumes. We will be have some school activities in the morning and then things will be back to normal after first break. In Math, we will be looking at ways of collecting and organising data. Students will be actively involved in collecting data on pumpkins and then working with the numbers. In Reading, we will continue to look at visualising and summarising as comprehension strategies. In Writing, we will be looking at the "Rant" as a form of opinion and persuasive writing. In Science, we will be looking at a local biodiversity issue. Students will be taking on the role of investigative reporter as they research and analyse an environmental issue. This week will be a busy one! Happy Halloween!
